| Specialised French on the Riviera: e-courses |
TEACHING
METHOD |
• The e-courses are a perfect and original
complement to the morning courses. Emphasis is
put on written production, based on the Information
and Communication Technologies (ICT).
• The final evaluation will be based on the creation
of a CD-Rom containing the work of the student.
A research theme will be determined with the
teacher (society, history, cultural life, economical
life, festivals and traditions, France and Europe,
France and Mediterranee, etc…).
• Special attention will be put towards speaking
properly. Along with the teaching method developped,
the workshop or tutorial lessons are designed
to be lively and interactive. Speaking will be
encouraged thanks to the little number of students
per class (8 or 4). The student will be asked
to report regularly to the teacher about the
advancement of his/her project. Pairing with
another student will only be possible if French
is used.
• Each student will work on a computer connected
to Internet
• The student, guided by his/her teacher, decides
on a research project
• The student will start with the creation of a
project in class and which will be followed up
by personal and independant work. Regularly,
during oral presentations, he/she will have the
opportunity to report on the progression of his/her
work
• Each student will keep a copy of the CD-Rom with
the corrections and comments of the teacher |
